Dave Retter is a distinguished real estate executive with a career spanning over four decades. He is the founder and owner of Retter & Company Sotheby’s International Realty in Kennewick, Washington. Retter began his journey in the real estate industry in 1979 and co-founded Windermere Real Estate Tri-Cities in 1992 with Harold Thompson. After 26 successful years with another franchise, he transitioned his company in 2016 to affiliate with Sotheby’s International Realty, rebranding it as Retter & Company Sotheby’s International Realty.
Known for his hands-on leadership style, Dave Retter emphasizes the importance of leading by example. He believes that true leadership is defined by actions and integrity rather than titles. Influenced by mentors such as John Maxwell and Ken Hohenberg, Retter incorporates core values of integrity and support for others into his leadership philosophy.
